I don't like her and I don't hate her, I'm just sorta meh. At first I liked her but the appeal wore off.

I am so sorry to bump this thread (please don't kill me), I just noticed that she gained and looks awful which is disappointing since she was one of the few quite thin celebrities.

She's only 5'0 too so that sucks when you gain weight. 3-5lbs can make a short girl go from thin to average
Admittedly her entire spiel would have been written for her by the SNL team.. however I agree, why is she always leaning to the side??? and her arm movements are so odd, is she trying to do that thing people do to make their arms look slimmer by keeping an air pocket under the armpit? Or is it just a really odd tic?
Her social media presence has become incredibly annoying as well. I did somewhat like her when she was tiny though

Badly applied talent. She can sing but but all her songs suck and I never have a clue what she’s saying. I literally have the musical ability of a fucking snail and I would be more eloquent than her.
As for her social media presence, she tweets like a child in small fragmented sentences and it’s really weird. She thinks she’s changing the world with mediocre music and lyrics that are either completely nonsensical or meaningless anyway (“just keep breathing?” shit thanks for the reminder Ari). There are SO MANY double standards for her as well. Bella Hadid, Kylie Jenner etc get absolutely shat on day in day out for their surgeries. Ariana has surgically altered her entire appearance to a point where she’s essentially racially ambiguous. Do I think anybody should be hated on for surgery? No, but it irks me that she seems to have this untouchable aura around her made of feral teenage girls on twitter.
I don’t have a problem that she entirely encapsulates everything pop music is about, but she should at least stop acting like she’s anything more than an unoriginal artist with very tragic circumstances that have inevitably catalysed her fame. Oh, and this weight gain makes her look like a tree stump.
I know the nationalistic pride might suggest so, but 'Italian' was not a race last time I checked.

What I meant is that she’s darkened her skin up to apparently almost passing for black at times; she clearly also tries to imitate a lot of Japanese aesthetics and people have accused her of trying to look East Asian also. Sorry if I misused the phrase, I just ran with what I thought it meant without checking the actual definition first

I’m sure that under that auto tuned voice she has some pipes but she has a team of song writers working for her. I doubt that she has much to do with it, just enough that she still gets song writing credit. And it doesn’t even take much talent to write the dribble all pop music/top 40 bs is today
