Some fashion no no for me. What are yours?

1. Leggings (as trousers) - I'm sorry but I can't pull this off without making it look at least decent. I'm always seeing girls underwears through them on the tube and it make me worry how people can actually walk around like this so carefree.

2. Flats with socks - tights and skin coloured socks (the thin ones) are ok but the actual socks with flats, it's a big no for me. Buy some winter shoes instead.

3. Crocs

4. Tracksuits + uggs - I find uggs very difficult to wear, I admit I do have one and they are great for cold weathers but I only wear them when I'm feeling 'skinny' enough and it's definitely not with tracksuits.

5. Trainers - They should be worn in the gym or outside when doing outdoor activity but not for normal wear. I think Converse are ok though.

6. Head to toe with labels. I often see girls where I live with their Juicy or Abercrombie tracksuits, Tiffany jewellery, Louis Vuitton or some other designer bags and uggs.

7. Flip flops or sandels with chipped polish or unpolished toes.

8. Anything where I can see your underwear.

9. Tights with holes or ladders.

10. Wearing super tight clothes where I can see the fat rolls. Ugh!

11. Head to toe bright coloured clothes. One item is pretty cool but head to toe is a bit too much.

What are your fashion faux pas? And feel free to disagree with me.

Welcome to my hometown

I don't like when women wear flowy shirts on top of flowy skirts..it just looks weird to me. I think they should be tucked in or something.

Also, when girls are too matchy matchy and overdo accessories.

Pretty much all of those, with one slight exception. Tights with one hole or ladder, no, but I do often rip the hell out of my tights on purpose.:p Haha.

But eurgh, uggs with tracksuits, no no no. Thats all I see where I live.-__- And yeah, the leggings thing annoys me too. Especially when a fatty wearing fairly thin leggings and a thong bends over right infront of you... :superpuke:

I agree with all of the above, but you know what's worse than leggings as trousers? "vintage" flowery leggings as trousers :superpuke:

Totally agree, leggings are just about ok with a long top over them but then you have to be so careful to get the really opaque ones. I spend so long trying to find leggings that aren't see-through for exercising in and then people basically wear a pair of footless tights as trousers!

hate hate hate this. especially with gladiator sandals that zip up at the back.
also:
belts over shirts (absolutely NO REASON why anyone would do this)
and lace up boots which are peep-toe, makes no sense

Eurgh yeah, especially on extremely large people, it just makes extra bumps and bulges..D: The only time I do it is with a wide belt for decoration, eg: (see attached image..)

A) Yes, I no longer care about keeping who I am private
B) Not the best picture of me, I know.>o< Looking pretty rough..

THIS! how can anybody think they look good? they are beyond hideous!!

im not sure i agree with you on the flats and socks thing though... a lot of the time it looks awful, but if its done well i think it can look really cute :)

i HATE neon. i think i have a fear of it, i cant even use highlighters, so the thought of wearing it makes me cringe.

and stupidly short shorts. don't get me wrong, i love short shorts. but when your butt cheeks are hanging out, its just too far ;)

These kinds of shorts -->

are everywhere right now, and they make me want to vomit. The number of chunky, over-tanned tumblr-like "hipster" girls in Toronto who wear this with stupid corsets like these...

is terrifying. It's the tackiest trend I've ever seen.

I have an aversion to clothing that is too short or too tight, It's ok to be proud of your body and show it off, but everything on display just seems vulgar to me...

I dislike flip flops (Especially the old navy ones, ugh my cousin who lives in the states used to have them in every color, she wore those things for the whole summer)

I don't find anything aesthetically pleasing about crocs and uggs…

I don’t like bleached or tied dye clothing, over bleached jeans… I think I don’t like ripped denim and I don’t think is cute, cool or edgy to have clothes in bad condition, no matter if it’s Balmain…

I don’t like anything neon… I don’t get that trend….

Ombre hair that is just too contrasted (Like black roots and extremely blond tips)

But then again every rule has an exception...

Speaking of ripped clothing

I think she looks bad ass right there, and I want to fuck her brains out

Uggs + neon shorts = it looks like you let your mentally challenged cousin dress you. It happens more often than I am comfortable with...

Otherwise, to most of you gurls, I'm a walking fashion disaster almost 100% of the time. We will take my outfit for today, for instance. I wore a pair of black leggings, an extra long home tie-died tank top, a pair of red and white stripped flip flops (that I bought from the dollar tree, lol), and an old hoodie I've had so long it's practically in shreds.
I'm glad I don't see any of you in real life, because you all would hate everything you saw about me.

To be fair, though, most of those things have sentimental value to them, and they're just plain comfy.

@SatelliteEyes : I love hotpants too much that I could agree with your rant on them - but you´re right that they look horrible on wannabee hipster chicks with chunky legs and a muffintop stomach bulging over the waistline. I see enough of them in my hometown and this cellulite-freakshow is so gross.

But imagine them on someone with nice, skinny legs, wearing a decent shirt on top - not that bad after all, isn´t it?

Some other things that should be banned from existence:

- Harem throusers. Seriously, if it´s not for an oriental-themed carnival, WHY would anyone wear them?

- Green Parkas: It´s not the clothes, it´s the people inside. Where I live, teenagers and young twens seem to see wearing olive-green parkas (best combined with Nirvana-shirts and a huge cotton scarf, no matter the temperature) as the only way to state how f***** alternative, special and rebellious they are. The green parka people are the hipsters of the rural regions...

On a slim girl with a decent shirt, whole different story! ;) I think it's a combo of the chunkiness and the dumb hipster styling that makes me so sad haha

you look rough in a cool way! love your style and hair :)

What about this new bikini bandeau top with the full skirt?!!!!
I looks retarded even on skinny people!!!!

Fur coats or faux fur coats/ jackets (they come off as tacky IMO)

birkenstocks shoes

When your Jeans are so long that you step on them underneath your shoe..

Girls who wear no bra and you can clearly see their nipples protruding through their shirt.

Animal skin bags (alligator, snake, sheep, cows, etc)

Animal prints- most animal prints come off as tacky (IMO) (cheetah, leopard, zebra, etc.)
