It always amazes me how great they look and how well-dressed they are out on the streets compared to their celebrity counterparts that we always see in something disgusting and sloppy, looking like they just rolled out of bed. Models always look like they just stepped out of a photoshoot/off the runway. Seriously, why can't celebs be more like models? The tabloids would be a much more beautiful place

I think them being skinny really helps that impression. Like, they can wear just a simple jeans and tshirt outfit and make it look great and interesting, simply because their body outline looks much more elegant (as opposed to some near sphere shaped celebrities). And not eating junkfood all day long helps their skin and complexion healthier. But I'm just pointing out how the skinny lifestyle helps them out, obvs they also take more care with what they wear than most celebs! I mean, how many models do you see walking around in ratty jogging clothes?

That's because most of them do. Quite a number of these street snaps are post-show during fashion week, so they have great hair or makeup. Some are post photoshoot, ditto hair and makeup. Some designers pay in clothes, so they have nice clothes that fit them. Some of them are going to castings so they have to look groomed and nice. Finally, their bodies are tall and skinny, so even simple basics look amazing on them.
Basically, their lives revolve around looking good all the time - they look good to work, they look good to go to work, and even if they aren't working, they have to look good to potentially go to work (like last minute castings, you always have to be prepared so must as well look perfect all the time).

yes, compared to all the other legs in this thread they are quite thick - but I really like the outfit and find her face quite interesting. Bet she'd look better with 5lbs less? :hmm:
