I have only watched the american version. Tyra Banks and her crew are completely ridiculous and I realize the show is nothing more than crappy reality TV, but I think the photo shoots were often really neat and fun to watch. And who doesn't like makeovers? I think the best girl to come out of that show was Nicole from the shorty episode. She's short, but I just think she's so pretty.

@Noodle12: I forgot about her! She was one of my favorites as well. Has she done anything recently?

Right now I'm watching Top Model Sweden (... because I'm Swedish) but I'm not even up on the one that's running in the U.S. Any inspiring girls? I'm sad because the Swedish version doesn't have any really outstanding girls but this girl Alice is nice enough (the blonde - I couldn't find any great pictures). I do like that they've voted off all the pudgy girls by now... It feels at least a LITTLE more realistic than the U.S. version does.

There was a girl on Top Model Australia who was realllllly skinny... I wasn't even such a fan of her (she was very ungainly, and not in a cute 'broken doll' way!) Her name is also Alice (the redhead).

She actually went to my school. The paper did an interview with her after she won and she said that she didn't want to continue modeling and wanted to go back to studying art. That was a few years ago, though. I'm not sure if she's gotten back into it or not. :(

Oops I just realised that my original message didn't post. That is Montana Cox, winner of series 7 of AusNTM. I think the Aussie series has produced some pretty good winners. We did embarrass ourselves a couple of cycles ago by awarding first place to a fat, bitchy bully called Demelza Reveley. Check her out ewwwwimage.jpg
