Anne Hathaway

I will always find her gawky and droopy no matter what the hairstyle or her weight. Those sad saggy cow eyes along with those quacky lips. In addition, the lack of muscle tone all throughout her body.

Though I must give it to her, great porcelain skin!

This was when Fantine just started out as a prostitute - she was still pretty and relatively well-fed, although she had just sold her hair and teeth. About a few scenes later when she became a painted "lovely lady" she did look significantly thinner and sicker - the scene where she was wearing a red dress with her boobs pushed up with a corset and she scratched the face of some lout who tried to stuff snow between her boobs.
 
Imho Anne is very pretty and I would love to have her figure. On the other hand I suppose that after reaching it I would still consider it to be too much and change my mind about Anne too.

I think she lost weight *while* filming and not *before* filming because she coudln't get her act together in time. Fantine was a poor factory worker for years before she became a prostitute so she should have been skinny the entire time.

True, but after she became a prostitute she began dying from some kind of illness or disease she picked up from her clients - maybe consumption or syphilis back in those days (guessing both, since she was coughing and hallucinating towards the end, so melodramatic heh). So she had to be even skinnier to shoot her dying scenes?

My boyfriend thought she looked like a toothless Joker when she was dying.
 
I kinda like her with short hair though, even if the cut is a bit awful
 
Anne Hathaway looks so "soft", like she doesn't have much muscle tone. I like her lovely eyes, though.
 
Why does she keep wearing dresses that make her body look like a box?
