if you could ask a top high fashion model anything what would it be?

i don't expect responses...just wanted to share our random/strange/stalkerish questions we would ask (no judging!)

1. do you keep flour, baking powder, baking soda (etc.) in your kitchen? what are staple items that you buy each week?

2. have you ever purposefully tripped another girl on the runway?

3. how do your parents feel about your lifestyle? do they leave your eating habits alone because they know it means $$?

4. does your stomach growl often in awkward moments? do people ask about it?

1. What are your favorite beauty products ever?

2. What do you like to do in your off time?

3. Seriously, how many of your fellow models do you REALLY get along with?

4. When you get together with male models is it straight bone zone time?

5. How many men high powered men have basically tried to treat you like like a presidential model prostitute?

6. What would you like to do once your modeling career is over?

7. How do you feel about 90's supermodels?

8. What's the most fun you've had since starting your career?

2. have you ever purposefully tripped another girl on the runway?

 I would love to catch that happening. I don't know if they'd be ballsy enough to try, though (sadface) I know I wouldn't!

- Do you worry about your career once you retire from modelling? (I feel like if they're famous enough, they would have money to be comfortable for a little while, but it would feel so weird to merge back into plain old society)
- Honestly, I wonder how they can feel so confident on the runway. Obviously, if you're drop dead gorgeous with an awesome body things are a little easier. But I would still find a hard time working some of the crazier avant-garde, couture-type things.

This thread is very intresting. I loved reading your questions (it would be great if they could answer!) but i can't think of anything to ask them:oops:

5. How many men high powered men have basically tried to treat you like like a presidential model prostitute?

i'd really love to hear a honest answer about this... also if ever sexual harassment happens while working... i find that so akward and terrible, especially for those young girls...

I'd love if models would answer this question:

If you have a family with daughters of your own one day, would you encourage them to pursue a modeling career? ( having gone through the whole experience of being a model, did you love it enough to want your daughter to go through it too?)

i'm not a native speaker but i guess i wrote 'loose weight' in some posts:run:
pretty embarassing...well, i keep that in mind:grin:

That's okay

I have been seeing it everywhere and it's freaky how ADULT native speakers use it constantly. It's like writing 'loose' is the new trend; the new black. It only bothers me because it makes me judge them miserably.

My questions :)

- I would ask models for their food diary and not just for the day or week but I want months of food diaries.
- Their tricks to avoid eating too much at events and parties etc, or what their after eating thoughts/plan are like.
- Their workout routines etc.
- Which designer clothes are actually worth buying, quality and wear wise.
- Which designer clothing to avoid/ the shoes that tend to be the least comfortable to walk in, or the ones that break easily.
- The restaurants and cafes they go to in each city. The places where they good their food shop.
- What were the lessons your agency taught you when you first started out.
- What are your tricks/tips to be more photogenic (if you can, not sure if you can be taught to be photogenic or maybe some people just aren't, I dunno).
- Do you miss anything about your pre-modeling days?

 I love your gifs

I guess I would ask:

1. What does your diet/exercise routine consist of
2. What is it actually like to be a model? I know it's not the way hollywood makes it out to be.
3. Have you had any problems with your employer(s)?
4. Do most models get along, or do they fight, or do they avoid each other?
5. What happens when your too old to continue modeling?

Wow those are awesome questions, but mine would totally be the simple diet questions what do you eat, how much do you workout and how much do you smoke. How do you ignore hungry pains?.. Stuff like that, but you have amazing questions lol :highfive:

-what are your meal plans?
-how often do you exercise, and what exercises do you do?
-what designers clothes do you love/hate wearing?
-which models are nice or bitches?
-which models and designers do drugs?
-how did you become a model?
-tips to become a model
-how do you know how to pose for pictures?
-how to be confident at castings

(don't want to sound rude, but)
do you feel your profession is relevant? if you could choose, would you prefer to be a doctor, a politician, a scientist? would you prefer to be the one who brings the ideas and creativity in, like a photographer, a designer, a director? do you feel objectified? would you consider yourself a feminist (in the most positive way you can think of the term: a woman who is sure of herself, knows what she wants and what she doesn't want and will speak up if she is asked to do something that goes against her principles) and if so, do you find it hard to be one in the industry? did you always stay true to your principles? is it even possible to do so in the industry?

That's a good one! I know it kind of just comes down to willpower, but some specific tricks they use. Especially after an exhausting working day, having all these expensive little canapes and treats right in front of you would be so hard!

And thank you SG!! That would be wonderful :)

(Exclamation point overload. Whatevs, this is an exciting topic for me ;))

Body composition (ie, body fat % etc), skin care routine, diet, favorite stores, makeup lines, etc.

My questions:

- How did you get scouted?
- Do you already have plans what you will do after modelling?
- Do you earn enough money as a model to pay your bills or do you also have other jobs?
- Were you often asked to lose weight? Do you get a lot of rude comments about your body? How do you deal with it?
