I dunno about Frida.. she has a smugness to her that detracts from her beauty. I noticed it first in streetstyle photos early in her career, and now cannot unsee it.

It's entirely conjecture on my part of course, but I cannot help but imagine her to be rather impressed with herself... *shudders*

This sounds more like you just being intimidated by her sense of style - she knows how to dress herself very well/has a unique look. I wouldn't call that smug. I feel pretty damn good when I put together an amazing ensemble as well.

Hmm.. I don't think it's that, as there are many incredibly stylish models and women who are beautiful and whose dress sense I admire, and I don't get that feeling about them. It's more something in her face, I don't know. We all wonder now and then what these people are like to know in real life, but with Frida I get a sense of conceit far more than for others.

As I said though it's all conjecture, nothing more than a recurrent thought I instantly get when I see her in candid shots. Hopefully she's lovely and sweet! Perhaps something in her features reminds me of a bitch I used to know, I dunno.. *shrugs*

It's okay, and I know what you mean. Certain styles of dressing even demand an air of confidence to pull them off - for example, look at anything Hanne is seen in for the street style photographers before and after shows! Frida's outfits though are much more.. normal.. than Hanne's.

Frida's kind of like the fashionable version of a hipster, whereas Hanne is just brilliantly insane.

I see. I definitely get it. Nobody likes a hipster.
