Why is it so difficult to just admit that you went from eating burgers everyday and not going to the gym to going to the gym and eating healthier+less burgers??
She went from chubby teenager to fit. Are people really dumb enough to believe that her body got more toned from a disease:facepalm:

But she was never skinny even before her diagnosis 2 years ago

Most of the people I know tha were diagnosed with hypothiroidism (including me) lose the weight the gained while not being diagnosed....and then some.
My normal weight was 114. Gained 30 pounds. Started taking the meds, now I can't gain over 105. Even if I am eating like a pig.

Can't wait what they'll come up with next. "Oops, I accidentally fell down on fillers and thats why my face is different".

Yep; my mother was diagnosed with it, lost four stone afterwards and has kept it off.

I wonder if she's going to gain it back after the fashion shows like she did last year after she'd lost some weight for SS fashion week. Somehow I feel like this time is kind of different: I feel like maybe she saw her sister eclipsing her and got ultra determined and desperate to reclaim the throne. Bella did more shows than she did last year if I'm not mistaken, and perhaps she felt threatened. Ugh if my theory is correct, that is so, so sad

I hope its more of the case I gotta keep up instead of i have to compete with my sister but these nepo girls are so out of it that it wouldn't surprise me

I don't know if I should laugh till dead or be offended because she legit think we're all stupid

If she's making this up [which she probably is], it is also disrespectful to true patients with this condition, and trivializes what they go through and their efforts to take care of themselves. Feigning a medical condition to manipulate others -- for the sake of her public image-- is yet another example of her abusing her privilege, and it disregards people with a genuine diagnosis. On a positive note I guess the silver lining could be that this will raise awareness, but it still is coming from a pretty dark place.

Her thighs look sooo much better with this comparison, honestly, good for her. If only everyone didn't see it as anorexia and demand excuses :/

This whole disease thing reeks of munchausen...or munchausen by proxy with Yolanda feeding them stories that they're sick. Its weird and gets more ridiculous as the days go by.

I found this picture of Bella from 2014:

She looks to be around the same weight she is now

Her hips remind me of mine a bit - I have 'hip dips' or 'violin hips' as I think they are called and am quite self conscious about them. When I wear close-fitting clothes I feel it looks like where my knickers are digging in with a muffin top, but it isn't. Does anyone else have this as well? Is the only solution to not wear close-fitting clothes?

This is exactly what bothers me, explained in words I couldn't access when I tried to reply to gigi's 'condition' earlier.

Why do people do this? If you cannot, or do not want to, achieve the qualifications for a job - and that could mean coding certifications for a programmer, a medical license for a doctor, strength and stamina for a pro athlete, or the body to act or model like Jennifer and Gigi, respectively) -don't force your way into the position with your name and half ass the job.

Don't be so arrogant as to take the place of a person who could have performed better, and don't sacrifice the quality of the art you're involved with because you can't or don't want to be the canvas your coworkers need.

I totally agree, as someone who has not one, but two autoimmune conditions (one of which is Hashimoto's) they are NOT a crutch! I take my medications, maintain my diet, workout and I have no problems with my weight. It's so straightforward that it's laughable. If she were trying to raise awareness and nothing else, great! But she's not, she's using it as an excuse.

If I were to go into, say, a lawyers office (I have no education in that area) and said "My Mum really wants me to be a lawyer, and she is willing to pay you to let me work here" I would probably be escorted out by security. Unqualified people who have no intention of becoming qualified should leave well enough alone.
