Bikinis can be 'one size fits almost all' as the strings make them adjustable. The runway sample sizes didn't fit her so they whack a swimsuit on her. I think that is what happened to Gemma Ward at Chanel when she put on all that weight

A few friends of mine know both her and her sister personally, and they (the Hadids) completely suck. They have more money than the Kardashians which is how Gigi managed to slide her way into the pages of Vogue. Her dad is a luxury real estate mogul I believe, they just listed one of their houses for a cool $58 million.

Edit: She also knows how to work the publicity boyfriend angle, dumping Cody Simpson for Joe Jonas. She seems to be angling to appeal to a young teenage girl market, with her easily attainable figure and teen heartthrob boyfriend.
