Really? I have never seen that at any event growing up. Or anything close to it.
Or are you making a joke like a parent and child?

I'm not joking. I've seen it in Spain, France, New York, London... It's very rare, but it happens (it's not just an American thing). And most of the time, it's at 'high society' events.

Oh weird. Sorry then.
I must have assumed they were parent/child.
I remember one man remarried someone much younger. It lasted like 2 years because he faced so much social criticism for it and because he realised how stupid it was...
That solidified the views against it.

How sad. People assuming your partner is your child.

It's alright, don't apologize :p
Like I said it's quite rare. I only cited the places I've seen such situations.

Two of the girls were very mature and they carried themselves well (I guess it helped that they came from good families. Also they looked a bit older than their age).
I think the ones that actually last just don't care (in other words, they are wealthy/influential enough not to give a shit).

The man remarried a woman who was the same age as his son's wife.
He was very very wealthy. People seriously thought he had gone insane. His son contacted a psychiatrist about it.
So that shapes my view on it.

See you at the next event darling :)

Yes and yes!

On a complete sidenote; where have you been! Missed your input around the forums!
It's nice to know that one's absence has been noticed :)
I've had so much going on, a huge transition phase in both my personal and professional lives, which was accompanied by great psychological oscillations.
My life has changed so much since Summer 2014, when I decided to break up my long term relationship and quit my job, due to general unhappiness and dissatisfaction. I've had one job after that, then I've got a fantastic job offer just last week. I've been seeing this guy for 7 months, open relationship but exclusive this far - until I met another great guy a month ago, so everything got more complicated. These are only a couple of sentences on the subject, as I don't want to write a completely irrelevant post to this thread (at least not a very long one.)
i've also been experimenting a lot with my eating and exercising this last year, and I chose to abstain from reading threads about contests and restrictions, since I didn't want to obsess over any one eating philosophy. I wanted to assess them all, based on what made sense, how I felt and the results they gave me combined with other factors.

I am sorry for the possibly quite incoherent, and totally misplaced post <3

Oh hey Andrea :). You definitely have been missed! I totally understand about you swaying away from those threads, as too much info can be contradicting and confusing!

and honestly your post is irrelevant on a Gigi Hadid thread as Gigi Hadid is irrelevant on Models' section, so it's all appropriate.. I wouldn't mind if we talk about the weather on this thread.

I'm just waiting to hear the "big surprise" that, "guess what? Bella's walking VSFS too omg all the stars have aligned #squadgoalsss!!! Planets rather.

Why do they both look like they always need to sneeze

LOL. The sneeze description is hilarious and accurate. Perhaps they have food allergies they ignore because, "#fitnessgoals #healthyisthenewsexy #curvesareforrealwomen," and because restricting ANYTHING is beyond either of their willpower. Tl;dr too hefty/too lazy to pay mind to anything in the realm of diets. Gigi's laziness is even manifested in her face with those sad and droopy eyelids.

If we're going to judge her process we have to do it according to her personal improvement, not traditional industry standards otherwise yes she will always be the fat model.

And that's why I like judging her by traditional industry standards.

I'm just saying in response to other people commenting on her weight loss and her 'waist when she bends down' because she is still fat. end of.

Your post is possibly the most relevant post on this otherwise useless 21 pages too long thread.

I am so glad to see you back on the forums. So any update is welcome. :flower:
