I absolutely fell in love with her on “Squid Game”, not only is she stunning but also a surprisingly good actress. And the show in general was so captivating! Even with the makeup and styling making her look more “haggard”, Hoyeon is so effortlessly beautiful
And I know Tik Toks are generally frowned upon here, but this one from the official Netflix account summed up why I watched the show

I meant to update this thread about her in Squid Game too but kept getting sidetracked. I also got called out by multiple friends with this TikTok - three separate people sent this to me
I loved her look in the suit as well!
She's so gorgeous and I'm looking forward to seeing more of her acting, I loved her character
I also just finished watching Squid Game and was impressed by the riveting cinematography and Hoyeon’s acting. I had no idea she was a model until I looked on SG and saw she had a thread dating back to 2016.

Her legs are not my absolute favorite (though her upper body seems better to me) but her altogether aesthetic is so fresh and captivating. Admittedly not the skinniest but smitten and inspired by the energy she exudes and her overall look.
She might not be the skinniest Korean model but she’s by far the skinniest Korean actress (as of right now). Like, someone that knows more about Korean culture than I do please step in, but aren’t the levels of skinny generally K-Pop —> Actresses —> Models?
Western media and celebrity culture has made me cynical to the idea of cross-industry figures. The model-turned-actress arc or vice versa is usually unimpressive in the USA. At least from the western perspective it seems like Korea tends to take more pride in their media output, and its refreshing to see someone who is both beautiful and talented do well in two different types of entertainment. Hollywood could take some notes.

Thank you for posting these pics @bingeonvogue !I had never heard of her until I saw Squid Game and every time she was on camera I was just completely mesmerised by how beautiful she looked. Pity her body was covered up in baggy clothing for the entire show. She looked skinnier in that bathroom scene in Squid Game than she does in some of the pictures on here I think. Not sure if it’s weight gain / loss or the fact that she has a pretty tiny frame and as such appears bigger in photographs than she does on film/in motion?
