Kate Middleton (Had to)

I wonder why. I have noticed she seems to be nervous a lot and does a funny tension-thing with her mouth. Hmm.

I'd guess the aging and stressful looking stuff probably has to do with having a child. Lack of sleep, hormones out of whack....all that stuff can play havoc with your mind and body until it gets back into alignment.

She appears to have aged 15 years in the past year or so.

i noticed this a lot with young(er) mums. some of my friends looked so young and kind of immature when they got pregnant (even though they were in their mid twenties), but once they had their child they looked A LOT older.
Plus Kate always looked older than her age, I remember when they got married everybody was talking about how she looks bad and wrinkly for thirty.

I don't know about that. My little sister became a mom for the first time right after turning 22, she still looks 20 at these days, and she is 26 in 10 days time. It differs. Then she doesn't dress frumpy, and basically haven't changed. She is still the same, and a brilliant mother as well :) i love her, and I'm ridiculously proud...

I love her legs but I'm surprised she doesn't have little tiny weights sewn onto her dress to keep it from flying up.

That is probably the most intelligent thing I've ever heard, is that a thing people do?

I love the way she dresses, it's so proper and pretty, but I find that almost all British aristocrats/royalty have this facial feature that bothers me: it looks like all of their features are being drawn into the centre of their face, like someone placed a suction cup over their faces as a baby. A l l of them.

Not enough people get it done! I'm not sure if it's just not known about or some people just don't care. My Mother told me she had them sewn into her dresses when they were really light and flowy. I think I read somewhere that Princess Diana had them sewn into her dresses as well. One would think that someone would advise Kate to have her tailor sew them on her clothes especially since her dresses have flown up more than once.

I agree with the facial feature statement!

That's amazing. I should do that, but then they would ruin lots of silhouettes.

Thank you for agreeing! Everyone I say that to thinks I'm absolutely mad and I promise I'm not I'm just critical.

I believe this technique originated with Coco Chanel :) And the brand's tweed jackets are still made with little weights or, usually, a tiny gold chain that lines the hem of the jacket.

So that's where it came from! Coco is such a fascinating person. I read a biography about her a few months ago and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
