Not to derail this thread too much and bring it back to the Amber and Johnny debacle, but I was interested to see her thoughts on the matter. I didn't know about her history with Amber either, but took a look and saw they had done a little bonding over shopping etc. I found now that she had this to say in light of the abuse allegations:

My dad is the sweetest most loving person I know, he’s been nothing but a wonderful father to my little brother and I, and everyone who knows him would say the same

Of course this is not at all surprising, but I was just curious to see if she'd made any sort of statement on the situation. Also I'm not totally sure on how reliable the source was, but I found that quote here.

she put the quote on one of her instagram picture. It is definitely what she said.

For now- and mostly because she's so young.

Honestly, her youth is the main reason I hesitate to neg her street style ; I really think that in developmental years style is a very important aspect of self identification. I'm sure I speak for most women when I say that I went through awkward, terrible years where I was completely lacking any sense of fashion... it's part of growing up and coming into oneself.

Bottom line, I'm really looking forward to seeing the choices she makes clothing wise as she gets older.

I knew it was just a matter of time before the media noticed! And I had a feeling that her father's "situation" would be the reason. As if the only reason people can lose weight is if they're going through something unhappy
