Around a week ago she posted a photo of her father on her instagram. First, I was captivated by their resemblance and how much I see her eyes in his eyes:

Her caption was, "Took beauty from my father ☺"

Concur indeed. Then, I noticed a commenter posted: "Arrogant."

First of all, this may warrant a separate thread altogether, but I am irked by people calling those who recognize his/her own beauty as "arrogant," "self-absorbed," etc. I do not think it is arrogant or self absorbed to believe you are beautiful, smart or funny. Sure, perhaps if you state, "I am THE MOST beautiful EVERRRR!!!" or something else grandiose along those lines, but I think society has failed to see self appreciation and confidence as a recognition of positive self-esteem for far too long. We have come to embrace self-deprication (which, don't get me wrong - is one of the largest parts of my sense of humor and enjoyment in others) and humility so much so that we deem simple acts of self-love - even when complimenting ones' own FATHER! - as "arrogant." To me this seems very off and somewhat along the lines of pro-fat and fat pride, etc. It seems that fat pride-ists and others think we should only attribute words like "fat" and "big" (at the worst) to ourselves just to be acceptable human beings.

JUST WRONG. imo.

Ok!! Long rant over!

I agree! It's funny how many people (read:fat, ugly) are on a campaign to make women love themselves the way that they are. But as soon as someone who is obviously beautiful expresses anything along those lines, they become an arrogant ass to that same crowd.

That said, I don't know the girl and she could be a complete narcissist. But I think most models have every right to call themselves beautiful, granting exceptions to a few like Tyra (she's a fucking narcissistic weirdo). After all, that's ho higher make much of their money..

Seems like it is socially aceptable if people don't feel jelaous/threatened. A hambueast can go 'I am BEAUTIFUL' and people go: 'You go GUUURL' and if some very pretty girl aknowledges she takes her beauty from her father she's arrogant... BTW I think all my prettiness is thanks to my father. He's dead (I love him dearly) and I'm very, very proud to look like him, just like Magdalena. It helps me remember him.

so I totally get it :)

BTW I think she's really beautiful. I love her face, she's one of my favourites!

OH MY GOD, I am in love with this editorial!!!!! :wtf::luv::luv::luv:

Perfection.

I really like the contrast of her short face with her strong wide jaw compared to her long limbed slim body. And that editorial is so amazing, I found my new desktop background :)

A bit disappointed with my queen, or more with the clothes she has worn in Milan so far. Her lovely body should not be covered that much, I wanna see bones, bones, bones !

Certainly not looking her old super skinny self at PFW. But still beautiful of course, I think she has the most striking face I've seen

:wtf: Okay, so, one of these happened:

1. VS 'shopped this and made her tummy fuller(no idea why someone would possibly want that, though).
2. She's arching her back a la Candice style way too much, so her abs are pushed forward and create the belly effect.(doesn't look like this is the case imho)
3. The cut of the top and the material make the front piece of fabric stick out straight, instead of 'hugging' her stomach and makes it look bigger.(Sorry, I can't explain it better:oops:)
4. She either gained or maybe was bloated the day of the shoot.

Nevertheless, her face is as good as ever. :luv:
I hope she won't gain more weight. I'm leaning towards number 3... :hmm:

She looks so... NORMAL in those black jeans. I want Magda to be inspiring me to get thinner and lovelier, not to be slowly morphing into me at my current chubby size  For some reason, though, I don't seriously worry much about Magda and weight gain. I don't feel like she seems like a woman who loves her ~curves~ or whatever, so she'll be super-skinny again after her VS work is done.

RIGHT?

I think Queen is a good example for this seasons look of 'healthy' models. My impression. And I don't like it.
