WHAT NINA AGDAL EATS ON A GOOD (AND BAD) DAY
http://www.harpersbazaar.com/fashion/models/news/a17218/nina-agdal-diet/

On her "healthy" day she adds so much crap to her salad. A salad is vegetables and sometimes fruits. When you add eggs, cheese, chicken its not a salad anymore. The point of eating a salad is to eat something light and healthy so idk why people ruin it by adding so much extra stuff.Just eat chicken and eggs separate if you want that. She also eats so much dairy , yogurt twice a day?? Dairy is not a health food or a weight loss food.

Salad is a mixture of many ingredients which means it can be anything you want ie chicken salad, fruit salad, egg salad. The point of eating a salad is to eat a mixture of things. What you're probably referring to is a crudite.

& yogurt is pretty healthy? I make a smoothie with the same exact yogurt she does for lunch most days? Honey is good because it has sucrose and fructose so the fast boost and slow let down for sugar. Yogurt is absolutely fine as far as dairy goes as it has vitamins, minerals, helps with digestion, etc.

I just think your #vegan views are obscuring the realities of the world...

I'm with you on this one. I adhere to a vegetarian diet, and rarely ever consume animal products, however I still believe a salad isn't discredited it's title just for containing more than vegetables and fruits. I mean even adhering to a vegan diet @sparklypetal you can add lentils, pulses, tofu, seitan, nuts, seeds, wholegrains, felafel, tempeh (I could go on) to your salads without writing them off as unhealthy or unworthy.

However, that said, this, America, is NOT a salad

Sorry for taking you all so far off topic.

In my opinion since i follow a vegan diet i don't think of dairy as a healthy food. But thats totally fine of you do, thats just my opinion from the re-search I've done.

wow those salads look disgusting. Americans tend to ruin things. I have seen some funky hummus flavors at the super market lately.

Yoghurt is very healthy I think; like everything else, so long as it's not drowned with sugary flavourings and you don't eat a vat of it every day.

When I was pregnant my doctor told me to add plain yoghurt to my diet; he said it has so much important stuff in it. I didn't gain a pound in 12 weeks even with adding this extra thing to my normal intake. It also helped with nausea, stomach cramps and my skin and hair visibly improved.

Everyone is different and not everyone responds to dairy in the same way but I generally find that I look and feel worse if I cut it out entirely.

Again, I'm with @Kit here. Yoghurt contains cultures and probiotics that are incredibly beneficial to gastrointestinal health. I think maybe you're confusing health with personal morals? I don't eat yoghurt as I am morally opposed to the industry (and get my probiotics through vegan fermented products like sauerkraut and homemade kimchi - but I'll stop there as I don't want to preach and be a total bore), however that isn't to say yoghurt's not good for you! Not everyone will share your views and moral standings, but you're certainly not going to win anyone over by being condescending or judgemental. Just a little thing to consider, trust me, it will make your experience here a lot more enjoyable.

I completely agree with you - but we're already past "enjoyable" with this one...

is that oatmeal with trailmix? it looks very high calorie whatever it is

This type of breakfast is unlikely to be over 400kcal and then Romee is obviously into extreme exercising. I've seen her lunches which are usually salad (fairly plain, minimal extras).

This reminds me of having a large continental breakfast on holiday and then walking a lot.. I wish I could go back to this sort of lifestyle but unfortunately everydya commitments make it very hard :cautious:
