Models: Before & After Weight Gain (or Loss)

I always thought her modeling was sub par. She reminds me of the girls who think they're models thread.

Also I know I can't be the only one who sees the resemblance between her and the actress Phobe Waller Bridge especially in the last photo. View attachment 138672

I agree with everything you said. She was never SG skinny, but at least she used to show the potential to be. Also, your comparison is spot-on! Even their haircuts are nearly identical.

Coming across Anny Elf’s and Anastasiya Volkova’s transformations was heartbreaking. It’s truly sad how hard they pushed themselves, to end up looking so … well you can see for yourselves. I sincerely hope they’re no longer struggling, but wow, what a difference. I thought they were doing well at their lower weights given what they showed on their social profiles, but clearly that was a huge misconception.

I don’t know what’s going on with Mathilde Henning, but I didn’t recognize her in recent photos:

How much weight gain do you think this is?
Her agency listed her hips at 35 in while she was thin for reference

Not sure but I’d be curious to know. She seems to tend to carry weight around her hips and I notice the gain most in her arms. The images remind me how even a small amount of weight gain can make a difference.

This must be the least flattering garment I’ve seen on anyone in a long time.

Maybe Im too naive, but I always thought this girl is naturally skinny, till I saw her recent post about her body before 😨

I think Lulu is past her prime. And now is a significant moment for her, to either steer back into skinnyland, or to get back to her old, pre high fashion body and never return. It's a wonder that she was able to start a career at that "high" age anyway. Let's see how this will continue!

She has lost a significant amount of weight (old photos below).
I was surprised by her lower body since her upper body is shockingly skinny.

This girl used to be a plus-sized model just a few years ago. she has a really cheap and dated look that doesn't at all suit sg beauty standards, so not really sure why she's on here, but shocking to see how much she's lost so quickly. she looks bad in a different way now and seems really sick.

No need for the attitude, runt. She has had an impressive body transformation. Body standard-wise, she's very much on her way to fitting SG ideals.

How does she look sick?

honestly my first thought was “this must be the model in these pictures posting herself to this thread” because her entire aesthetic seems quite at odds with SG to me (overfilled lips, tacky flash-looking tattoos). In terms of how thin she is, certainly a fit. She looks sick in that this weight looks very unnatural on her given her larger bones, her facial expressions look totally flat, the poses seem uncomfortable (maybe she’s just trying to stick out her collarbones more or something though?), and as you said in your initial post, even after all that hard work her upper and lower body never lost that obvious proportional difference.

This is a thread literally titled “models before/after weight loss,” not “models who conform to a narrow, classist interpretation of beauty that sneers upon body tattoos”

I don't have any issue with tattoos if they are tasteful (the comment is actually pretty ironic as I am more tattooed than this person myself). This particular person's taste in tattoos is just really corny and juvenile imo. I was told to carefully review the aesthetic preferences of the site and adhere to them out of respect to senior posters, which is what I have attempted to do. Throughout the forums, I noted repeated criticism of overfilled lips, "instagram influencer" aesthetics, and models with tacky tattoos. I did not realize it was out of line or that it would be considered somehow classist to comment on any of these things. It seems I am confused & misinterpreted; since my superiors are offended by the comments I rescind them and apologize.

How is disliking her tattoos classist?? Last time I checked tattoos cost money, even if they're flash/basic/dumb.

Re: the girl in question I guess she does "belong in this thread" as she has lost a lot of weight and is signed to a major agency, but I know at least 5 girls who look exactly like her (even the same tattoos pretty much) so I'm not going to be following her career either.

I hate the tats and find her personal style very trashy but her body looks quite good to me.

That’s fair. I found your comment about “tacky tattoos” annoying bc it seemed to be equating all tattoos = trashy but I’m glad to be wrong! Also personally I’m kind of into this girl’s aesthetic; now that she’s thin, it looks intentional and ironic rather than embarrassing, and she’s got a striking Krysten Ritter thing going on.

I’d like to preface this by apologising in case this isn’t the correct thread. This is more of a plastic surgery thing but it certainly makes her look larger.

So, I came across Rylee Stumpf on here, through the Thinspo Dump thread and I’ve been following her since she has an enviable physique if you factor out her huge bum.

And I’ve found her rather inspiring since she’s on the shorter side and I’m rather short. So, her getting the same body I want is a huge motivator.

So I was horrified to find out she got breast implants. Franky I was in denial for a little bit. I told my friend when I saw BTS photos of her it must be fashion tape or something, because admittedly I’ve used it being flatter chested for certain events when I can’t get something tailored in time.

It’s just a theory, but I’m really inclined to believe it judging by these selfies of hers.

I’ve also attached some photos from a show she walked a while ago that I think illustrates my point.

Also some past images.

It’s a shame, but the implants really fit her terribly trashy, hooker aesthetic. She’s pretty much alienated herself from certain markets now, imo - if her Instagram didn’t do it already.

In my mind there’s a difference between being provocative and being trailer trash. And she’s the latter. I really tried to look past it because of how great her body is. Arms, collarbones, especially, but what can you do?

The heart wants what it wants apparently. 🤮.

But yeah. I would appreciate you ladies weighing in. Maybe I’m just imagining it. You all have more keen eyes for these things.

In my mind there’s a difference between being provocative and being trailer trash. And she’s the latter.

Rylee is short but at the beginning she had a chance at a decent career. She didn't have the patience or work ethic (or class tbh) to avoid the easy & cheap kind of online attention (aka "slutting it up" for the likes). I see so many girls do it and it's a shame tbh. The dumbest ones are the ones who stay halfway between, like they don't go full-on slut (which can pay well) but they act slutty or trashy enough to ruin their chances to land higher-end work.

She is from a very poor area/background which with American girls is a crapshoot for agents. Sometimes it makes a girl work hard bc she doesn't want to go back to living that way, but sometimes there is so much culture shock that she goes back to behaving the way she knows. "You can take the girl out of the trailer park but you can't take the trailer park out of the girl."

She’s pretty much alienated herself from certain markets now, imo - if her Instagram didn’t do it already.

True but it depresses me how much trash some higher tier brands will accept these days just for online clout, it's sad and gross. We need to get back to expecting class, elegance, and refinement from young models IMO.
