Ok a few points:
That weight gain is unbelievably noticeable in her upper half. Like yikes, her chin has disappeared completely and her waist looks a solid 27" in that workout section. Such a contrast to her previously rail thin top and everyone knows that if you lose you're best assets you're fucked.
In spite of this I still actually really appreciate that she is trying to go plant-based... even though she ate chicken halfway through. It has unbeatable health and environmental side effects in the long term and it's always great to see someone in a position of influence take encourage veganism! That being said, the initial transitioning to veganism is notorious for weight gain when you're experimenting with good and weaning yourself off a chicken addiction like hers; I'm not at all calling that the sole reason for her gain but it could be a benefactor. She said she wanted to try it before the VSFS but didn't in case it made her fat (not her exact words
).
Also, she seems self-aware? And less optimistic teenage role model-y? Maybe I'm overanalysing, but she almost entirely covered her problem spots throughout the video (even wearing a long sleeved top in the gym and not a sports bra) and just appeared overall a lot less cheerful and high energy. Big sign of insecurity. She also ruminates a lot on the retreat we mentioned a couple of posts up and clearly values it highly, whilst reluctantly reflecting on her
habits over the holidays and her coffee addiction (that hit close to home... I need to stop too). Imo, she's 100% conscious of the fact she's falling down a Karlie Kloss shaped hole and is taking every possible action to realign her health and get back to being the skinny fit demigod of Victoria's Secret and the modelling industry as a whole. I can't complain in the slightest– Skinny Romee is one of my favourite thinspos, I just hope she's in a good place mentally and not troubled like
@Skinnybubbly suggested.
