YES. Most contracts have an appearance clause where the agency or client can terminate for any changes to the model's appearance. That isn't just weight, it's everything - tattoos, hair, piercings, etc. We're very clear with all of our models that you do not change anything without permission. Obviously if you're in demand and well-known you get more flexibility but I've never seen a contract where the model can do whatever she wants with no consequence.
Also, I think it's important to clarify that the agency isn't (always) going to a weigh a girl every time she comes in. A girl I know at another top agency in NYC "looked a little bloated" once, so her agency measured her to see if her measurements went up. Because they didn't, they didn't bother weighing her, but if they did, I'm sure they may have

This randomly popped up on my pinterest. Wow, were those the days!

Random thought from seeing more of her insta stories /posts recently: she eats SO much of literally random foods but also is doing a ton of sports. I wonder if she is focusing on having a lot of muscle gain right now, and with that is just accepting the fat gain, before working on losing all the fat before VS season starts up again?

that just seems counter productive doesnt it? i think shes just comfortable where she is in her career and justifying it by sports.

Also possible, I was just thinking it could be a bulk/cut fitness mentality to gain a lot of muscle mass

Not entirely sure what’s going on here.

I feel like there are too many things to comment on so I’ll just leave the picture for you to ponder on ...

It looks the same in motion, I think the material/cut could be contributing to the effect? Meanwhile Romee looks like freaking Miss World

I don’t think she has ever gone through a cut. She is on some sort of perpetual bulk if you compare her body now to the start of her career. I think it’s more likely that she’s of the camp that believes exercise can compensate for a shit diet.

Oh no no honey, what is you doing :slinkout:

This is like bmi >18.5...If she really is 5'10 I put her at 130+ or so right now, maybe closer to 135 with the muscle. She looks like she gained 25 lbs from her lowest, which was ~110. IMG still lists her as a waist of 22'' which is the biggest joke I've heard all week.

bmi 18.5? You're too nice I'd say minimum 20

BMI 20 is more like this just for reference...I think it's easy to assume "slim" models are more like a bmi of 17 when they're closer to 16..."minimum" bmi 20 means shes over 140 lbs...like close to 150. I have a really hard time imagining that even if she has gained a lot. It's tough to swallow that being 'skinny' requires a bmi lower than we think it does.

Agreed, but the person in that comparison photo looks like they have a smaller waist than Taylor... :seeya:
