Well of course she is. It's not like she can be seen around a bunch of girls that are much thinner than her- she has to keep up appearances as the 'thin friend'
As much as I hate Taylor, when somebody is blowing up like this, there's most probably something deeply wrong. I find it kind of inappropriate to suggest whatever medical problem she'll eventually come up with is solely invented to blame the weight gain on.

Maybe Taylor is just like, happy? You know that phrase "fat & happy"? She's been the highest paid celebrity in the WORLD for two years in a row now, so maybe she's just not caring as much? But then again, Taylor is so so known for obsessing over her "brand image" so she just doesn't seem like someone who wold just let herself go like that! I feel like if any other celebrity gained weight, it wouldn't get AS much attention (ie. Miley Cyrus's recent 20 pound gain), but Taylor is the LAST one we would expect to let herself go. So everyone is fixating on it, thinking, "surely there MUST be a reason."
I'm just sitting her sipping my tea wondering when she'll actually acknowledge that big elephant in the room.
She must be driving the show's wardrobe person crazy. There's only so much you can let something out before you have to resort to weird improvisations like this inset:

Even more than the photos of her looking even larger than this, these two photos are such effective reverse thinspo for me. She looks like she would blend seamlessly into the majority of college campuses in America – makes even Gucci loafers look cheap as hell.

Yeah, that picture is pretty gross. As much as we love to hate on Taylor, no one deserves to be grabbed like that.
Totally agree. Although the way she talked about it made it sound like she was raped and beaten and left for dead.
