I wasn't really sure where to put this but I think it is somewhat related, I'm in China and I was at this art class at a Chinese school and there was something was something about traditional tie-dye. To demonstrate how it is used in modern art, they showed this beautiful picture (I gasped with surprise and happiness):Oh god, what a depressingly clear example of Korea's changing (i.e. deteriorating) beauty standards.

I know it was more about the clothes but in somewhere more PC I think that it wouldn't have been allowed for them to show such "unhealthy" bodies.
