She looks "skinny" only beacuse she leans towards the taller side. Absolutely nothing impressive about her and her body.

I have to agree. Her body would be impressive if she were 5'6 and under. She looked skinnier and more toned a year or so back.
Personally I think she looks pretty good for an actress. I can’t think of many other actresses who have bodies on par with Zendaya’s. Idk, maybe I’m biased because I like her as an actress but I think it’s a little harsh to describe her body as unimpressive lol.
This is a good body in my book
And she’s also 24 and not 16 anymore, so miss me w the whole ‘she’s naturally slim’ cause she’s been pretty consistent w her body/weight and it’s hard to believe that she doesn’t work to maintain it

I was waiting for someone else to post this so I didn’t double post
but yeah I think her legs are looking more toned than they have been, that’s always been one of her problem areas. I still think they could use some work but it’s not bad. She seems like she’s slimming more during the pandemic versus the general population

She works so hard at maintaining this size that you would think she were naturally slim.
She’s got much of my respect for actually being a great actress, plus the discipline she puts in to maintain her weight.
The dress choice was subpar and she pulls it off because she’s skinny. She could look fantastic in any look to be honest and this one just seems quite boring for an event like the Oscars...
The design itself gives the illusion of a long torso (which translates to bad proportions) although I like the simplicity. I also think she would have looked better with straight long hair with middle parting here instead of wavy for a more clean and modelesque finish.

She looks stunning, and I agree that this Valentino dress (and the colour) is one very few could pull off.
However, her makeup is awful! Some photos are slightly more flattering, but nowhere near her best. This woman can look like this;

I want to say it’s the hair that does her unjust ? It is too hippy tribal, long and too flat on her skull to suit the diamond head shape.
She would have looked way nicer with big voluminous 60’s waves with a side parting or straight long down with middle parting for a more dramatic Oscar look:

Not the most imaginative cover I’ve ever seen, but I like the juxtaposition of messy composure. Of course Zendaya looks beautiful, her collarbones are the star of the show here

While the dress itself has an interesting background (with the brass plates handcrafted in France via soldering and hammering technniques), I have to say that it doesn't really do much favors for Zendaya. In a way, it almost looks as if she's pregnant with a metallic baby in this outfit.
