i'd love to hear some model's answer for their preparations for this year's fashion week (or, in general)
-diet/intake/fasting?
-workouts?
I have a question: when you are around model friends like yourself, does the topic of weight/eating sometimes come up?
How do you cope with the shooting in bad weather, wearing thin clothes, standing/sitting quite still for long periods whilst being skinny? Do you spend a lot of time at work feeling cold?
Haha just suck it up and try not to complain. Spend 3 hours following the shoot sitting under hot water in the shower. Unless it's a shitty test for no pay, and unremarkable images, then throw the photographer some serious shade. But it's not really in the job description to complain and no one really wants to be branded 'difficult'.

I have a question... To all models: do you get noticed more as you walk down the street/appear in public, do guys want your attention more (not necessarily because they KNOW you are a model, but simply due to the height+thinness, which is definitely something you don't see everyday)
Because most (most!) men all say they want girls with a little meat on their bones (for lack of a better expression), but I would imagine that a tall, young, thin woman would attract a lot more stares than an average height, average/chubby body girl.
I had a question in general for people in the modeling industry - I've been working on my book and I've done some test shoots and I have digitals. I also have a mother agent that I'm not signed with, but has been helping me do all this and has been trying to get me placed. She has tried a bunch of places but she says a lot of them are saying I'm too skinny. I have pics on the showcase that you can see, and my question is am I really too skinny to model?
Hi @Golden ice, I'd be interested to hear what the VIPs have to say - to me, you look perfect! Obviously I am no model so my opinion counts for nothing. Is your agent trying to get you into commercial or high fashion? You might be too skinny for commercial modelling? I'd kill for your body though!! And congrats on the modelling work - I am sure it won't be long till you're a VIP yourself
Aww thanks!! And my agent told me she is thinking high fashion for me because I'm so thin, plus I have an edgy look rather than a commercial. I have the pics from my tests that I'd be able to pm to a VIP if they were wondering, but I don't want to put any pics of my face on the site for privacy reasons.
A lot of gossiping about other models, but mostly behind-the-back drama. I'm sure some other VIPs have some good stories but from what I see most models keep their heads down around clients at shoots and shows. No one wants to be labeled as "that girl" so it's kept pretty tame in public.Just from being on the site you can tell there is always some sort of drama. Have you ever seen model drama at an actual shoot? I mean I'm assuming most know its better to leave it for later, but I would love to know some vague detailed about model drama witnessed.
Some agencies turn the other way, but I've seen my agency immediately address the girls with severe eating disorders. It shocks me that people say bookers encourage drug use/disordered eating, because I've never seen this. How do agencies handle a model with an eating disorder? Do they care?
