Dream Shoes

I like either timeless classics like the Louboutin Louise XI (~2000$):

Or very eye catching statement pieces like Sophia Webster(~1000$):

I think overknee boots elongate skinny legs in such a stunning way that I will always love them. And the butterfly heels give me a fairytale feeling.

Really loving a mid-height slingback heel at the moment. Leaning towards the Gianvito Rossi ones because they're classic, but I'm also partial to a preppy Prada shoe.

I can highly recommend these leather boots from Acne Studios for everyone who likes a clean style for everyday wear. Not to mention who comfortable they are!! Mine already look a bit worn off because I've been wearing them every single day. :luvluv:

These pink leather Mary Janes made by Gucci is my latest obsession! I love the floral inside of the shoes and the little insect with their logo on.

They cost over 500$, which I would love to buy, but I can’t find them in my size.

This one might be a mit controversial, but I saw these a few weeks ago and I am still in absolutely love.
The curves, the feminity, the elegance.

They are the Marilyn Women's 1940's pumps by American Duchess (180$)

I know these are not that expensive, but I am still a poor student with massive debt.
And I also don't have any occasion to where these to with the pandemic going on.

the two tone Chanel slingback. works so well with everything and is perfect casual elegance to me. I had a pair that lasted me all through high school/college and just recently got another

I have many dream shoes and these are definitely one of them which I’m aware is pretty odd and very much not everyone’s cup of tea. My style is pretty odd as well though so those shoes are definitely on brand.

These just remind me so much of these horse hoof shoes 🤣

I think it’s pretty obvious that they’re supposed to resemble horse hooves, especially since they have metal horseshoes in the platform soles. Sarah Burton is such a brilliant designer and I admire her creativity and attention to detail. When she constructed the heel-less heels for the Alexander McQueen F/W 2012 collection, she created pieces of shoe art. However, I would not be able to wear them, I’d admire them as sculptures

Oh god🤣, they totally resemble horse hooves but I personally always thought of them as albino deer hooves cause to me they look more dainty, soft, and elegant. I adore deer, that's probably why the shoes remind me more of them.

not sure how everyone else feels about vintage miu miu/prada because i know the designs are polarizing (to me they are the epitome of ugly chic which i love :shame:) but ive been dying to find a somewhat affordable pair of unused 1999 metal hardware prada shoes! here are a couple examples i saw for sale recently:

If you couldn't tell by the username, I love vintage Miu Miu! Both of those shoes are great and if styled properly / depending on what clothes you already have, could be very versatile in your wardrobe. I have about three pairs of Mary Jane heels like those Prada ones, they never fail to get compliments. I love muted colours they can be so underrated so I'd say go for it!

The thrill of hunting for amazing pieces while thrifting was so worth it when I found these. They’re literally my dream heels from Dior and now they’re mine, the serotonin levels are out of this world. Thank you thrift Gods.

I have a birthday coming up, so I'm trying to decide what to put on the list (to buy myself or to drop hints for others to buy me :slutboobs:). Can my SG sluts help me choose so I don't end up with both? I haven't tried on either pair yet.

Option 1, Louboutin Movidastic 130mm

QqcxpBd.jpg
x32a3Yj.jpg
Pros: Loubs (I'm a whore for Loub), sexier, 20mm taller than the Pradas
Cons: Already have a very similar pair. Might be too loose around my calves. 99.9% chance they are less comfortable than the Pradas. Can somewhat fix that with gels but it's a factor.

Option 2, Prada Brushed Leather & Nylon booties

iHylf9N.jpg
TxLUZe1.jpg
s9kI0Lu.jpg
Pros: Slightly more utilitarian, could actually wear them if I'm going out in some light rain/snow without completely freaking out about ruining them. Probably more comfortable. They seem like they will fit tighter around my calf which I really like.
Cons: Not as sexy. Less leather. A bit too Nazi looking 😶

Both have big square heels for crushing testicles so that's a tie. :hahano:

The Loubs. They read as a lot more classy to me and the plain design of the boot coupled with the red sole will make it easy to dress it up or dress down. Heels by nature will never be that utilitarian so I would choose the shoe that at least looks nicer and won't be too taxing on the toes.

Maybe I'm biased but I find most of the Prada items outside of the heels to be super ugly, in a nouveau riche, Eurotrash kind of way. Sort of like the trashy nylon bag they have.
