Can we all agree on not updating this thread anymore unless one of them looks skinny? I feel like we aren’t updating threads on actual skinny models but instead are updating threads constantly on thick models/celebrities or models/ celebrities that have gained weight. Reverse thinspo isn’t a thing for me. But seeing actual skinny models (I don’t care how unknown they are, they deserve the praise) definitely is thinspo.
Idk, I think this thread is updated pretty sporadically anyway and is more used for comedic relief- it’s basically a takedown (unless it’s Bella’s annual skinny month). I think as long as we’re not posting their street style candids and every cover they land, which we’re not, there’s no reason to totally shut down the thread. The bitchiness on this particular thread is what originally drew me to SGF even before I was a member, so maybe I’m biased.
I do get the annoyance with the updating of the nepo model threads because they obviously aren't worthy of such attention. But, I think the problem is that actual SG skinny models aren't as easy to access and don't do as much work as the nepo models -- which sucks! And honestly, picking on the Hadids, Baldwins, and Jenners of the world are 1) comic relief and 2) a quick way to feel good about ourselves .. at least for me (because maybe I'm not Vlada skinny but I'm definitely skinner than Kendall Jenner
). As long as they're not being constantly updated, I don't really see the problem.Also, I feel like a lot of the VS model threads get updated even though all but two (Martha & Stella) are average, at best. I don't need to see constant photographic updates of Romee and Taylor's fat thighs anymore, but I don't think we need to police every model thread when they gain weight.
Maybe they chose it because she looks nothing like herself and they're trying to trick people into thinking she's a "new edgy face" ???

I hoped she would stay thinner bc I kind of like her thin, but I have a feeling she will balloon even more than the last time she dropped weight quickly.
I’ll never get hadid’s twisted mind: gotta look super skinny for the VS show (which is a lingerie show) but hey! Will catch up on the burgers in time for hitting the runways of HF houses in Europe!
This is conjectural, but Bella quite obviously wants to be desired. In the VSFS (where the focus is both more overtly on the models and on the models as pinnacles of sex appeal), she is positioned favourably compared to her gigs playing clothes hanger for Chanel and you see that reflected in her work ethic. I think she actually desperately strives to be skinny, but is prone to rationalise her overeating when the pudge will be covered underneath layers of heavy fabric and facetuned to oblivion afterwards.
Edit: I also incline to believe that Bella primarily models because the connotation lingers from the 90s that model = pretty girl, even if the equation no longer (necessarily) holds true, at least not in HF.

What gap, the one in her fringe? It looks fine to me. If anything, her hairline looks nice & thick.
She probably does have vitamin deficiency though seeing as her diet either consists of fried food or nothing. Bella, if you're reading this, take your supplements!
