I have something pretty outrageous to say. And this is coming from me, who started the Hadid sisters thread in Takedowns long before it was moved to Models.
I actually think Bella has been looking pretty damn good at Cannes and I can't deny it. Don't shoot me.

Maybe she looks ok in the edited pics on her IG, but as someone who has Bella's body type, she can do better than this. Her arms are going to look fat- that's a given- but even her waist isn't impressive here. Also, that hair was a mistake.

Ok correct in that dress..I was more focusing on the photos I saw of her crop top outfit from Dior on the first night and then the tulle dress. Not loving the red look.
If you mean body wise then... definitely not. But the dresses? I don’t have an issue with any of them so far. My only critique would be that, of course, she’d look better in them (that tulle dress especially) rail thin— but alas, we can’t have everything. Also sorry @proseccoprincess but I liked her hair like that, at least relative to some of the monstrosities she’s sported in the last year

And personally, I have never been a fan of the ‘I just woke up and rolled out of bed look’. The expression of the gentleman in the background says it all.
And one from my {retro, minus a few surgical procedures} personal collection. I don’t mind the asymmetrical bob/lob but it doesn't do Bella any favours. I don't know, like her arms, something about it rubs me the wrong way.
The dresses she’s been wearing are beautiful but her body doesn’t look good. She had better moments and this ain’t one of them
What do you mean? Despite the Balmain look not being very wearable day-to-day, I actually think she looks really cool.
I actually really like Gigi's hair and makeup here but giggled at the lack of elegance and un-modelesque hair flipping. That livid tone of blue suits her though.

Does anyone know why a ton of Arabic people are suddenly cancelling/boycotting Bella? Apparently she uploaded this photo of her boot in a plane window to her Instagram story, and it was seen as an offensive attack/political statement against Saudi Arabic and Emirates? It’s all over Twitter and her Instagram comments. Even Arabic celebrities are commenting at her about the photo.

In a previous post, Bella was addressing the situation in Sudan and she blamed the UAE and Saudi Arabia for what is happening there. Due to backlash, she edited the post and removed that part.
In this picture Bella put her shoe/foot on the window as if to say “I don’t approve of this” or whatever and the planes in the picture are planes from the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait so what people are taking from this is that she’s essentially blaming them. Through this, they’re also accusing her of not being patriotic to Palestine. Basically another case of Bella putting her foot in her mouth
Unfortunately I can’t be certain if I got all the specifics right as I can’t read Arabic (anyone?) but I think I got the gist of it.
Also the the multiple shoe emojis on Bella’s insta are hilarious... they don’t approve of her either

Thank you!! I figured there had to be an Instagram story or post from Bella that started all of this, but all I could find was that photo and show emojis? And no media outlets have mentioned it yet. Maybe in time she’ll even post “an official apology”.
It’s so funny/ironic that she’s pissed off thousands and thousands of people and it won’t affect her career at all
