Yeah, I think the bright makeup takes away somewhat from the blandness of her face.View attachment 10629
Probably an unpopular opinion - but I think she looks good here
Depends what you mean when you say "good"...... yeah I guess she looks good for the aesthetic they were going for.View attachment 10629

I honestly think that the b&w cover is very good.
They did strategically cover half of her face.... s/o to her makeup, hair, and styling team. They did well on this one.I honestly think that the b&w cover is very good.
Exactly, the other cover is way less striking and interesting because you can see her whole emotionless face lolThey did strategically cover half of her face.... s/o to her makeup, hair, and styling team. They did well on this one.
The point is that I think "not bad to be Gigi"I honestly think that the b&w cover is very good.
And don't forget the hardworking geniuses behind the photoshop!s/o to her makeup, hair, and styling team
I understand this but it's a win-win situation on both parts. Instagram has changed the way people view fashion, magazines and brands are searching for girls who already have big followings and are familiar faces. A model has to SELL and that's what these Instagram girls are doing. Take a look at every cover Kendall and Gigi have and you'll notice that there isn't a single one where they don't mention their Instagram followers in them. Even during VSFS they made a whole segment about Gigi, Kendall and their social media success, it's very trasparent. There are big fashion houses that never used any of these celebrity models in their shows (Dior, Prada, Celine, Valentino, Gucci) and probably never will. It's just a phase, surely an unfortunate one, but fashion moves fast and they'll be onto the next trend in a few seasons. Anyway, I don't mind Gigi if she deliveres decent stuff like this VP cover, at the end of the day it's not about how you got there but if you're worthy of that spot. The point is that I think "not bad to be Gigi"
But this is SO wrong! It's a cover, we don't have to make do with them, they should be beautiful. We're make our standards lower because the industry is giving us bad stuff.
Im probably overreacting but this thing of models-it-girls drives me nuts. Stop making everyone models. If they're good at something, let them be celebs, if are good at nothing, don't make them models, for God's sake stop this.

could be the laziest person ever?Oh she had them but must not have worn her retainer. Shocking, considering being a model was her 'lifelong dream.'

The most amusing quote from that link...could be the laziest person ever?
But I feel like, for most events, if I’m going as a high-fashion model, I usually just like doing a clean face.
Only because your face resembles a potatoBut I feel like even with a clean face, you still have to kind of contour...
I honestly think that the b&w cover is very good.

Or she could just, you know, lose the fat from her faceBut I feel like with a clean face, you still kind of have to contour...
