True... but even when she was a kid she had the start of those under eye bags. I think that might just be a result of her skin tone.

Ah. Well, I guess it's not for everyone. IMHO she's lovely, but I know that she's a very divisive actress.
I see the haggard element to her face but personally dig it. It's like heroin chic's very distant cousin who attended Sunday school growing up. Innocent but troubled. Caffeine instead of coke.
(Though I do hope she's healthy and do get why this is unappealing to some)
I think some of us just naturally look 'haggard' (I prefer heroin chic) when we're at low weights. My face certainly does - I've always had bags under my eyes and the shape of my cheek bones, jaw and chin just make me look hollow. Skin tone definitely has an impact too.
It's all down to genetics I think, as I'm healthy and still look this way at low weights, as do my mother and brother who are also quite thin.
Her face is amazing though, I could watch her in motion for days and not be bored.
