Tips on submitting to an agency?

Id like to formerly apologize for this comment. It was meant to be taken lightly but it clearly came of as bitchy and insensitive. I am sorry, this is a fucked up industry and i shouldnt make fun of that aspect of the industry. i shouldnt shame women for resorting to doing something we all would resort to doing if we were enticed with fame and money. I shouldnt imply that thinness and beauty are the only driving factors that make a model great. Genuinely sorry.
for me it's not even any of that, it's more that when I hear those kinds of platitudes i get embarrassed for the girl making them, because they always seem to come from a girl who even if she gave the best blow jobs in the world still wouldn't get signed to a top agency, so she wants to pretend that the real reason she isn't signed is because she wouldn't suck cock but she feels so "sad" for us poor signed girls walking around with jizz all over our faces. ok whatever helps you sleep at night hun
Not entirely sure what are you pinpointing and aiming at... Firstly,NewYorkSkinny asked that because she was changing agencies (which btw,happens often and also those were agnecies of differnet type so I don't know why are u surprised ?).
Secondly,about not having that VIP badge... We all have different reasons. You voluntarily apply for the status,it's not obligatory and "a must".
Speaking honestly,I will maybe apply in the future,but it's not even that easy for me,escpecially when you're under the eye of the public and you start being paranoid about your privacy.
Although I do trust the staff of this site would keep my identity a secret and they seem very professional about all this,it's not that easy. I'm still a newbie on this site and don't reveal much about myself because I could be easily recognised because of my attitude or not so often seen features. I can't even imagine what would my model friends think if they found out I post here considering some of them don't like this site because it wasn't written all the best about them (no comment on this haha,
). And not to mention clients,who are the most importantones,you never know what they would think of this...
With a VIP status you can see new parts of SGF,but you also cause guessings of your identity.
In the future I might apply,but atm I'm too paranoid (no matter how irrational this may seem).

When I am done with family xmas BS I can explain how it used to be, like not even 6 or 8 years ago, and how it still is with some top agencies but mostly in Europe now. And also can explain how things are going to shit in the US because of this instamodel / nepomodel / "everybody's beautiful" crap.
It's not top 10 it's just major agency in a major market. IMO that means NY Milan Paris London etc and you're on a board of a well-known agency but obviously final decision is up to

Every VIP that I know (I don't know all of them obvs) is at one of those.
personally at one of those; would say swap silent for muse though in terms of status, as of late--also (of course you probably know better than i do but) there are some slightly powerful "boutique" agencies like Heroes, and Supreme is in NY now too.
FWIW the new parts aren't much worth it at the moment but the extra features are, like anon posting and being able to give people negative ratings.
Also I don't want to give anything away but the way AB does VIP verification there's basically no way your identity would get out unless you admitted it was you. Literally the only VIPs who've ever been outed were girls who came out and said it was their account.
(EDIT - I think every VIP would vouch for AB and SG's total discretion for 5 years or whatever but what I'm saying is even if you don't trust them, the way they do it is quite smart)
any advice on how to get the best shots for digitals? ive only submitted once before & had no response although i have worked professionally in the smaller market of my big city, but not sure what any of those agencies are looking for even when analyzing line-ups. are my measurements too big 5'8 32-22-32? absolutely no make-up at all? plain background? is there a certain time of the year that chances are better to be seen? any help is appreciated from you guys

Okay one last question... Would walking into an agency 100% randomly be absolutely unacceptable and annoying? Especially so near Fashion Week? I just don't want to be lost with the crowd of online submissions.
To me it would be. Yes it might show enthusiasm but it also shows you cannot take direction. Only show up if it's open call hours.
Ugh I feel this so much! I’m trying to get signed with a top agency now that I’m ready but don’t want to get lost in online submissions as well :/ and a few top agencies don’t even hold open calls in nyc either
