Dream Shoes

You guys are the best :luvluv: Lowland in leather it is :party:

I checked out both and I agree! Lowland probably needs even skinnier legs to pull off but are by far the nicer pair of boots. I don't like that polyester backing either on the 5050, for that price why aren't they all leather? For leather boots that go up to the knee or slightly under I stick to riding boots myself.

Thanks! :) I was leaning towards the lowlands myself just from looking at the site. Do you have them in suede or leather and do they last well?
I have them in suede. Just make sure to weather proof them or they won't last even one winter. I had the 5050's in leather and got rid of them after a year because they get really wrinkled looking with regular use.

Thanks for the advice! Sorry for my ignorance, but what does this entail?
Not at all! I just bought the weather proofing/water proofing spray and sprayed them two times. It isually takes them a day or so to dry in between. It won't change the color (ESP if you get black) as long as you get the aerosol kind and spray it from at least 12 inches away.

This. I got a pair of 5050s in January and they were so wrinkled/trashed looking that I took them back last week to Russell and Bromley (where I bought them) and they gave me a brand new pair no questions asked. I didn't even have my receipt! Made me realize that when you invest so much money into a piece of clothing, you're actually also paying for better service even in the long term.

I also got some boot shapers (less than $5) to help them maintain their shape this time around.

@elleblass I really love those.
Not sure how well received this will be because my taste is pretty eccentric, but I'd love almost anything from W Concept. Each shoe looks really unique and I feel that South Korean shoes in particular are designed to make thin legs look phenomenal.

I loveee Loq! Their shoes are great and fit kind of narrow which is ideal for me. I've been really into Nicole Saldana, Mari Giudicelli, and MNZ (as always) these days too
