Do her lips look bigger or somewhat swollen in those photos or it’s just me??^ They're from April 2017.

I read on insta Karl and Kaia might have gotten into an argument since there won’t be anymore of her collaboration with him. She unfollowed him and Chanel. Don’t quote me please just wanted to see if anyone else has info? Will be sad if she doesn’t walk for Chanel anymore.

I wouldn't mind seeing less of Kaia, tbh. Her thighs are pretty much her only forte, and however much I wish the runway brought skinny back, that does not in itself a good model make.

I'm not saddened in the least, if this actually the case... I've been over Chanel for ages, except for the occasional peice, most of what gets sent down the runway seems pretty stale to me. Classic Chanel is iconic, what I've seen recently feels like an imitation. Karl seems to churn it out en masse, feature a few "it girls", and hope something sticks... not nearly as desperate as DG but still... the Kaia x Karl collection felt like a grasp (and it sucked)

Definitely agree that Karl seems to ‘churn it out en masse’ when it comes to designing. I get overwhelmed thinking about how he has to produce several Chanel shows a year each with almost a hundred looks each time, several for Fendi and whatever he does for his own line (not to mention couture); I’m not surprised that his shows suck fairly often. Occasionally he produces amazing Chanel shows, because ultimately he’s a good designer and of course he has it in him, same with Fendi, but generally, Chanel has been pretty shit and no amount of skinny thighs and pretty backdrops can save his ass.
Back to Kaia, I don’t think anyone would disagree that she’s *everywhere* at the moment. Though I do think she has a genuine talent and the look for modelling, like with any overused model, her presence can oversaturate the industry very quick. If I had to pick one show for her to stop doing, I’d rather it wasn’t Chanel or Fendi (which if she has fallen out with Karl, I’m sure she’s stop doing too), but we’ve seen in the past how disposable Karl’s muses are. Who’s his next underage ‘daughter of’ to grace every Chanel runway, campaign and editorial? Baby Kate Moss?
So true. I wouldn't the least bit surprised to see Lila as his next 'daughter of' obsession... Lily Rose I get, she's short but her face is undeniable, and Kaia actually looks like a model, but Lila is just so common in all aspects.

I don't. I'm just angry to know another teenage boy is out risking other's lives driving drunk. It's not like he can't afford another way home, or another way to soothe (fuel?) his angst that only endangers himself, if anyone.

I don't think there's much more to it than a teenager having fun medio holiday and getting caught for his subsequent negligence.
This is getting a lot of backlash for not being "on brand" for YSL, since the average teen can't afford their products. I'm not a fan of her acting here either.
To be fair the "average" person can't afford most of their products, but this is for lipstick and their cosmetics arent entirely out of range for most... or am I that out of touch?
Still it's a fairly crap concept of a commercial and pretty "off brand" as well. Looks like they're reaching for another market.
I think that's the point- teens aren't the target demographic for their beauty products since a) they don't appeal to teens and b) they can market more to the average adult, since a lipstick is more affordable than a purse. Teens tend to go for either cheap drugstore products, or "instagram hype" and slightly cheaper brands like benefit, tarte, urban decay, etc.
Don’t get me wrong she’s still a skinny legend for her time but her face looks a bit fuller. Maybe it’s the hair
