My two cents that literally no one asked for: Kaia, at her lowest, was remarkable. Incredible legs, angular face (why does everyone hate her eyes for being too close?), clear work ethic, strong walk, generally good print work. But the haircut, weight gain and lack of work recently has completely changed my mind on her. She looks so boring— dare I say, ugly? At least by model standards.
I don’t think she’s as bad as @PattieBoyd insinuates but I think it says a lot about her beauty if it diminishes after a basic haircut, bad styling and an extra 15?lbs unlike, say, Vitto, who has (imo) looked stunning at either extreme of her weight.
I mostly agree with this but I think vitto is the exception IMO. it’s probably more common than not for a model to completely lose that special something by gaining weight. Particularly if the model has a “blank canvas” kind of face. I know Gemma Ward gained more than 15lbs but even when she was at the lower end of her weight gain she was nowhere near as remarkable looking as she was at her skinniest.

You think Margot Robbie has a “pretty ok” body but Kaia Gerber’s face and career are “meh”?
Y'all will probably dethrone me for this, but here goes. Comparing those two faces (at their best), Margot's face beats the shit out of Kaia's face.
Margot is thick and porny and trashy but c'mon, Kaia's face?? Idk, I've never liked Kaia's face. Dull AF. It doesn't help that she has 1-2 expressions.
I'll take a dull stare and matchstick legs over an expressive face atop a chubby body any day
@FashionThin you break my heart
Actually, with regard to Margot's face versus Kaia's, idc—I see the point about expressiveness, even though I think Margot has the face of a secondhand blow-up doll. But @PattieBoyd said she found Margot's body acceptably skinny, which feels like a wild enough opinion so as to throw one's other beliefs (e.g. that Kaia is a "mediocre model") into question.
To aid in our discussion, Margot and Kaia helpfully once donned the same dress:

#give anaemic and insomniac girls representation 2019Hell, some part of her appeal was those dark circles that made her a somewhat appropriate YSL or Celine girl
@PattieBoyd said she found Margot's body acceptably skinny
Actually, she didn’t, she said she found Margot’s body pretty ok for an actress, but that qualification seems to have been lost in the excitement over a rookie roast.
