first time i’ve seen a photo of Kaia with any sort of a double chin. happens to the best of us.
Margot has charisma and presence. Weight is irrelevant in this situation. Might be an age thing. Kaia is literally a blank canvas.@FashionThin you break my heart
Actually, with regard to Margot's face versus Kaia's, idc—I see the point about expressiveness, even though I think Margot has the face of a secondhand blow-up doll. But @PattieBoyd said she found Margot's body acceptably skinny, which feels like a wild enough opinion so as to throw one's other beliefs (e.g. that Kaia is a "mediocre model") into question.
To aid in our discussion, Margot and Kaia helpfully once donned the same dress:
I'll take a dull stare and matchstick legs over an expressive face atop a chubby body any day

Apparently she was inspired by this lookView attachment 61726
Inspired ?
I agree. I'm really disappointed because paying homage to her mother's iconic look is one but building the entire career on imitating her is another. Maybe I'm wrong but Kaia tends to replicate instead of going off a beaten path and developing her own identity. As long as she is insanely skinny people accept that but her recent weight gain really emphasized the nepotism.
I'm really curious what's your opinion. Disagree if you... well, disagree. I'm so on the fence with Kaia.

You read my mind. I mean... At least she cut her hair so it's not 100% the same 90s big long voluminous look as Cindy's but... Kaia looks better in that dress though, I love the bondage vibes even though they're trendy rn (I despise trendy crap usually, since it's just the last step before tacky as mr. Lagerfeld said).
I'm not paying tribute to her style otherwise. She just made her wardrobe look ok-ish when she was uber-skinny and anything goes by then. If you add 20pounds to what @Marianne posted she'd look like an average IG influencer
It’s a shame she let herself go.
Absolutely.
@Marianne although it's the question of personal preference, to me #1 is a 70s disco glam; #2 a casual camo jacket + leather pants (boring!); #3 - I like this one but it's very basic nonetheless; #4 leather pants and a T-shirt. The most typical punk outfit, more like a costume (esp. with the wig) than an actual outfit.
It's all imitation. Maybe it's because nowadays it's hard to create new looks aka "it's all been before" BUT still, I think she is more into putting on costumes than recreating a look from her imagination.
I mean, duh? Sex sells, and Kaia certainly could have picked a more modest outfit was she averse to that brand of tabloid coverage.Pervy tabloids
She was chubby before and she'll be chubby again, I hardly believe her entrance into adulthood explains the middling legs. This belongs with the 'ma genes' excuse imo.losing a teenager's metabolism
Agreed- here are some Kaia street style photos that I think reflect her style best; I love her slightly tomboy look, I think it's uber cool. (& even cooler on her when she was in her prime...missing those insane legs ).Not sure it’s fair to use those outfits to describe her personal style as “being into putting on costumes” when outfits 1 and 4 with the wigs are both literal halloween costumes from the 2017 and 2018 Casamigos halloween party respectively vs. the other photos which are her out and about and the photo of her copying her mother is her birthday party
