I recall reading somewhere that Katie Grand called her a pleasure to work with. After watching this video, she must have been lying.

"Kim wanted to be a model but she was "too short".
Right, thats why. All the agents were like "Darn Kim, if only you were a foot taller you'd be the next Rubik"
Shows how delusional the family actually is.
@FashionThin I'm interested as to whether people actually like Kendall/think she is a good model or they're just playing the social media celebrity model thing because thats the theme of the moment and appeals to the lowest common denominator?
This is a special issue of this month Vogue. I guess she's not getting the main cover this summer anymore...?

I feel like her face will never match the body. It looks like someone copy-pasted her face into a model's body. This is a special issue of this month Vogue. I guess she's not getting the main cover this summer anymore...?

I don't know any industry professional who really truly thinks Kendall is a good model. Not one.
KINDLE JANITOR
Then who puts pressure on booking her? The clients? The management of the agency?I don't know any industry professional who really truly thinks Kendall is a good model. Not one.
You can say the reverse. Feeling sorry for some (not all) less financially fortunate individuals. Never knowing what it's like to not be fighting for everything. To just enjoy life for even a moment. In a way, I feel sorry for some (not all) rich kids. They seem handicapped in what personal development is concerned. I know they have huge bank accounts to buffer the effects of the real, harsh life, but I feel they are missing out on the satisfaction of well deserved success.
I'd trade lives with them anyway! You can say the reverse. Feeling sorry for some (not all) less financially fortunate individuals. Never knowing what it's like to not be fighting for everything. To just enjoy life for even a moment.
It works both ways.

It's a mad world in many ways. Internet & its love child-social media- are very good at promoting pretentious impostors as if they were the peak of their professional field. It's a vicious cycle. Clients book her bc of her "audience", the agencies are good with it because their 20-40% is worth more than their dignity. Then once she books something, her audience goes up. Thing is if you really look at the makeup of her "audience" it's sad AF that so many brands even want to bother with it. The brands are cool with cheapening themselves for the "views". It's a lot like what's happening in the US in politics, social media has pulled it into the gutter and it feels like everything is fucked because of it.
I know we take a dump on her for so many reasons.....but I'm still sometimes impressed that she has lost 'some' weight and hasn't ballooned up to Carla's proportions etc etc. Also, she hasn't been partying like nuts or been an out of whack disgrace either. So yeh....I'd say I'm rather impressed with her ability to keep herself together from what seems like insane amounts of negative press that her family and she attracts.
Edit: Whatever the reason she's getting employed right now....she's making it work and capitalising on the notoriety.
Someone's very easily impressed... LOL
The hilarious and sad part of it is that so many (or it seems like so many) users on ig are either teenagers or have the mental capabilities of teenagers. The number of "goals" and "omg she's so pretty" posts ['she' being any boring celeb] I see from these meme accounts with often millions of followers makes me want to smash somethingIt's a vicious cycle. I swear ahah. People really don't take into account of who the people that follow her are, all they see is "50 MILLION FOLLOWERS BOOK HER RIGHT NOW" when I'm sure, like you said, her followers are probably over 50% tween girls who want to model because of Kendall. The hilarious and sad part of it is that so many (or it seems like so many) users on ig are either teenagers or have the mental capabilities of teenagers.
