Kendall Jenner

What is sick is that she complains about working hard and being hospitalized due to "exhaustion". She walked, what, 15 shows? How many did Julia Nobis walk when she was on top? How many of these girls are walking upwards of 50 shows and not complaining about being exhausted? Modelling aside, how many people work multiple long shifts, on their feet with no end in sight? So entitled, just shows that she's never worked a day in her life, its an insult to the rest of the world and just confirms what an idiot she actually is.
Are we even sure it was actual exhaustion? Or is it.. "exhaustion"

Yea, personally it doesn't take a lot to get me hospitalized for feinting/exhaustion- I know everyone isn't like me and I'm almost positive I am predisposed to something. Maybe an all nighter or if I drink a little too much, a bad hangover will make me feint. I have some pretty crazy stories

The worst was probably when I forgot to eat one day and had a seizure (and that's the doctors' best guess as to why- EKGs and everything came back fine)

I know what you mean by your body not taking things in stride. I have heart issues (some sort of defect with a valve that spits back some blood) and often end up at the doctor or even the hospital because of tightness/weakness/palpitations

But honestly, if she had something like that, they would have milked that cow already. I think this is more of a case of someone who isn't cut out for something naturally trying to force herself into a mold - and life - she doesn't fit in. She should go back to her cushy mansion and post on instagram. At least her sister knows where she fits.

To be fair, Kendall maybe didn't walk 50+ shows, but whatever you think of her, she's been in high demand in the last couple of months. She shot A LOT of editorials and campaigns, went to countless events, and don't forget the whole Kartrashian thing, which is what made her famous, so I don't think she can just walk away from all the obligations she has towards all of them. (And even if maybe she could or could have, sometimes you only realize it was too much the moment you're hospitalized.) I never thought I'd defend her one day, but making fun of her 'exhaustion' just because she only walked 15 shows is a bit short-sighted.

I get how it would be exhausting for a spoiled rich girl who never had to work for shit. Many seasons I've walked more than 30 shows. Two I did more than 50. I know girls (hi @RedAir @Runweigh @Zerocal) that walked even more than that, multiple seasons.

It is very hard but what keeps me going is that there are thousands of girls who would replace me in a second. Sad but true, that's not anything Kendall has ever had to think about.

one beyond 70 :shy:

German saying: that's whining on a high level.

Imagine, this girl had to work daily,+8h with little income.

Judgemental I may be, but short sighted I am not.

There was not an ounce of "making fun" of her. I'm not ridiculing her, rather bringing attention to the fact that she in fact has never worked a "proper" day in her life, which inevitably means that her idea of exhaustion is vastly different from the rest of the world. She has it easier than most models. She's not wrong and I'm not saying she has no right to be exhausted, my issue is in her publicising it like she is the first person to be tired and run down from work. She would fly Business/First Class, have drivers, she has a stylist who dresses her, teams who do her make up, a PA to make sure she is going to the right place at the right time etc. I just hope for her own sake she never has to deal with the stress most people are under, because if she can't deal with this then she is in for a world of pain. The fact of the matter is she is entitled, good, bad or indifferent, there is no other way to put it.

Charles Gross is a kind of popular youtuber who talks about fashion, luxury items etc.. I was just watching him while doing college stuff, all of the sudden he starts talking about Kendall. It's spot-on.

Maybe I'm biased because in my line of work I see people hospitalized for cancer rather than exhaustion, but it is extremely difficult for me to be empathetic towards Kendall when she comes from a life of so much privilege. I'm not saying that she hasn't worked hard or isn't deserving of the opportunities that she's had. Simply put, she has never had to develop the same resiliency that many others in the industry have. It's true that everyone responds to stress differently I just think her version of "stress" is much different than the average person that doesn't lead a life of entitlement.

I don't work in HF nor would I ever claim to know what it's like to walk runways or try out for endless auditions trying to make it. However it's pretty obvious from looking at the life style that the Kardashians lead that none of them really have it all that rough!

Judging by kylie's face this is an old picture but Kendall's resemblance to khloe in this is scary...

This is spot on. Sure people all handle stress 'differently' but I went to work today with a freak fever & chills. Popped a bunch of Advil and toughed it out. The end. My assistant also had a fever and was coughing her lungs out... if we were Kardashians, we would/should probably both be hospitalized. :meh:

If this girl hasn't lift a finger before her 'career', I can see why her mind and body 'collapsed' at some point.

Still, many of those girls are ...what is the word...pussies ?
If I listen to my mother and grandmother what they had to go through my generation has too many whiners/moaners and lack substance.

In a way, I feel sorry for some (not all) rich kids. They seem handicapped in what personal development is concerned. I know they have huge bank accounts to buffer the effects of the real, harsh life, but I feel they are missing out on the satisfaction of well deserved success.

"Kim wanted to be a model but she was "too short".

Right, thats why. All the agents were like "Darn Kim, if only you were a foot taller you'd be the next Rubik"

Shows how delusional the family actually is.

@FashionThin I'm interested as to whether people actually like Kendall/think she is a good model or they're just playing the social media celebrity model thing because thats the theme of the moment and appeals to the lowest common denominator?
