Holy crap I didn't realize that she was that short. Here she is compared with the other angels, but she doesn't have heels on. This was on her IG story today so I thought that she was quite tall still compared to Lily with heels on (who's the shortest angel?).
And tbh I like that NewYorkSkinny posts her own photos and stuff because I'm a fan girl too

Maybe if you see it like people waiting after a concert for a chance to get merch signed it'll make more sense or going to a preseason game to meet you're favorite athlete.
Or even better (assuming we're talking about the music industry), if @NewYorkSkinny makes a good impression on someone she meets it's like her giving them a fire mixtape and getting a fabulous connect. If you don't know someone, you gotta hustle until you do.

and yeah...that's pretty much what I was implying. There are hundreds of professionally shot candid photos of the girls walking out of the headquarters. I guess I just don't feel that these blurry iphone shots contribute to this thread at all. And on the contrary I think it comes off a tad immature as I didn't realize this was Gossip Girl. But like I said, that's just one girls opinion...
Trust me, I understand networking and hustling for sure! But standing outside behind paparazzi and taking blast after blast on your iPhone does not a hustle make. And that wasn't my point - it just seems immature. I'm really not trying to upset anybody Im just saying if you ae aspiring to be model/agent, it might not be the best look!

Anyway what's wrong with what NewYorkSkinny did? It's not like she's camping outside those model house, everyone knows they're doing VS fittings and they're highly publicized. A lot of people do that during FW too, there is nothing weird about it.
In my defense the blurry iPhone pics are actually screenshots of the videos I took so of course they are going to be blurry.
In my opinion I like videos better sometimes because you can see how they interact with photographers and their body better imo. Also thank you to all of you who defended me! I thought you all were going to agree and think what I did was creepy. 
I mean it's your opinion but if my favorite (or just really popular) models were in my city waking a show or something like that I would try to spot them out of curiosity, no doubt. I have a friend who's a big fan of the Hadids (let's not comment on her poor taste lol) so during fashion week she often waits outside of Fendi or Max Mara to spot them, I don't think it's creepy at all. Everyone knows they're there. Also it makes sense that on a thread were we are talking about Taylor's physique a member would reply about what she looks like irl, since photos and angles can be tricky. Imho.

There is a difference between being a fan who waits outside fashion shows and takes pictures of models for their own enjoyment vs someone who has shamelessly bragged about being scouted and how they "want you so badly!!!" but then uses said photos to critique another models body on a very public forum. I have no issue with the judgements made regarding her body, I've already stated that I completely agree. However I've worked enough in the industry to know that you will never make connections that way, and actually on the contrary- it makes you look desperate! I wouldn't care about this behavior from someone who is just a fan. It takes it to another level when you are LITERALLY going out of your way to critique a woman in the position you aspire to have one day. Do the previously posted candid photos not suffice? Or do you want everyone to know you were standing outside the VS headquarters? I guess I don't understand how my perspective is confusing to people. But then again I've already said that it's just my opinion.

Personally I "fan-girl" over models more than most mainstream celebrities and I don't think it's weird to go somewhere where you know they will make a public appearance. Especially because there were many people there photographing. Following/seeking people out in there day-to-day lives is a different story though. People understand your position. Rephrasing will not make anyone change their opinion on whether they agree/disagree with you. She just took a damn picture I think we can move on.

Jesus why do you care so much about what I did? Yes I waited outside. Yes I replied information on a forum especially made for talking about celebrities bodies. Also this is an anonymous forum incase you forgot... No one in the industry will know I posted this about these girls. The same way some vips go on the no one account and say they saw a model and then how their body looks. No one knows who they are and it can't affect their career. So I don't know why you're so worried about that. I'm not a high fashion model. But even if I was and I went on this forum talking about another models body what's the problem? Again have you forgotten about the vips here?

Look, just take this advice.
1) Unless the sarcasm is really obvious (and in your words "spoiler alert- it wasn't!") it won't translate on an internet forum. Don't act so personally offended because no one knew you were being sarcastic.
2) You don't have to reply to everyone. You've dug yourself deeper with each reply and yes, people kept responding, but you don't have to. Just let them talk and we can "get back to our regularly scheduled programming". You went from having an opinion, which people usually like, to being really annoying by making personal attacks and boastful posts. You don't sound cool. Instead of NewYorkSkinny looking like a try-hard it's you.
3a) You may be 'an insider', but unless you're a VIP we're going to think you're full of shit. Especially because you've brought it up every other post in here.
3b) You're still a rookie and @NewYorkSkinny isn't. Like our Lord and Saviour says, "This isn't a democracy" and you should respect the hierarchy. You've commented on the threads and I know you've seen your cohort of rookies make mistakes and you're fast tracking yourself there. Pump the breaks. Or become a VIP and people will probably kiss your ass.
Sarcasm aside, I understand and appreciate this advice. I have indeed seen other rookies make mistakes, however I don't agree that this is one of those occasions. I am nowhere near offended that people didn't understand my sarcasm, just know my initial posts were not intended to be malicious. At some point I became defensive which I do regret in a way. I know that as a rookie my advice won't always be held to the highest level and I completely understand. I truly think I was giving sound advice and I still stand behind it. I don't feel that I was "bragging" about having experience in the industy as it is something I've been praised for posting about in other threads without doubt. I've stated multiple times that it was only my opinion and would like this thread to return to its initial intent. I doubt I qualify for VIP status as I am a freelance fashion reporter and not a model/agent but I will be sure to look into that
