I think there are some VIP's who would agree with me but thanks for your hot take mom!
Good lord, who do you think you are? And based off your qualifications, why do you think you should be VIP status? You've been PRAISED in other threads because of your status in the industry? What? Girl, you are a piece of work.

Also, you're wrong saying this isn't like the other rookie mistakes. You've got the same dirty attitude @Fairina USED to have. Check it now, or I hope the door hits you in the ass on the way out.

Yeah exactly. I think she hold something against newyorkskinny or it really doesn't make sense

I don't think it's anything against @NewYorkSkinny per se, but rather a combination of illusory superiority with a craving for ~*dRAmA*~. This is her third(?) attempt actively stirring up shit on this forum, and she's only at twenty-something messages total. I'd almost be impressed if it wasn't so very obnoxious.

Let's backtrack a little, shall we? I never said that I should be VIP status based on my qualifications. It was suggested to me that if I wanted to avoid those doubting my experience in the fashion industy, I should look into it. Perhaps "praised" was the wrong word. I meant my insights have recieved a positive response from others and without doubt. I didn't come here with a dirty attitude.

Thanks Freud. I hold nothing against @NewYorkSkinny and I want to appologize to her if it seems that way. The initial posts I made in the thread were out of curiosity until everyone came at me after alluding it wasn't IN MY OPINION very professional.

Seriously just stop. Let's move on.

If what I did isn't professional and I'm not even a signed model I wonder what you have to say about the VIPS. Like I said before we all talk about models bodies, even real professional models and agents. So I don't get your point? Why are you even here if you disagree with talking about bodies?

Those thick eyebrows do not work on her face like they do on Taylor's
I was on instagram and my boyfriend was like "Jesus what happened to Taylor it looks like she got hit by a bus..." then he looked closer and was like "oh that's just Mackinley" I feel so mean for laughing but I hate how everyones forcing this sibling model thing, especially with someone who's clearly not on Taylor's level and can't be as equally of a good model.

Snapchat selfie for a showcard???
IMG is doing it for all their lineup. I watched through the cards and they mixed the plus size girls in with the, ahem, "more traditional" models. All I could do was gape at the alternating hip measurements throughout the cards. 34, then 33, then 47 (!) then 35, then *BAM* Ashley Graham's card assaulted my eyes. Almost gave me whiplash.

I completely read this as "Wrist: 22" instead of waist and I was like "wow that's why they're not showing her body in it!"
Side note, IMG's latest showcards really rub me the wrong way; bad font design/visual look and this style of B&W photo is unflattering, especially for models whose best or most striking asset is eyes/coloring. B&W can work, but this style of B&W is ore of a greyscale, which washes everyone out.

I agree - this looks like a poster for a school runway show that someone put together using Microsoft word and then printed out on 'snazzy' coloured paper. It looks as though it should have blu-tack holding it to the side of a locker.

I actually really like the new show cards. But it's totally because it has this strange 1970s novelty for me. Probably because of the font and color ;)

You can tell that some of models show cards used non professional photos ( go look at Gigi's, it's like she just scrolled through her "save for IG camera roll") but some look quite good IMO.

Okay I am glad they're using normal professional photos for newbies. That's a really bad pic of Taylor Hill but it's not like she goes to castings like a normal model

Models don't choose their showcard photos though, do they? It would be unfair to critique a model for choosing a "casual" pic if she didn't pick it herself. @FashionThin plz confirm
